Dr. Rocha received her Doctorate of Medicine from the Universidade Federal do Ceara in Fortaleza, Brazil. She completed both her Residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at the UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX.

Her certifications include the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Echocardiography.

She currently practices at Southern Medical Group, P.A., and holds privileges at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare.

Dr. Rocha is passionate about understanding the intricate connection between metabolic conditions—such as diabetes and obesity—and heart disease, and she is dedicated to helping her patients achieve optimal heart health through tailored, evidence-based care.

Outside of work, Dr. Rocha enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young children, especially exploring the outdoors and relaxing at the beach or pool.
