Maria Cleope received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Silliman University. She then completed her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of West Florida.

Ms. Cleope is a Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN-C) with the State of Florida. She assists Dr. Krothapalli in Electrophysiology.

Originally from the Philippines, Maria immigrated to the United States in 1994 and has served in a variety of clinical and leadership roles including Care Coordinator, Clinical Education Coordinator, Heart Failure Nurse Navigator, ACLS instructor and ECG Course Developer and Instructor, and Family Nurse Practitioner. Bringing more than 20 years of cardiology experience, she is passionate about helping patients achieve better health through education, prevention, and evidence-based care.

Maria is known for her compassionate approach, attention to detail, and commitment to lifelong learning. She is passionate about mentoring healthcare professionals and believes in investing in the next generation of caregivers. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, kayaking, fishing, hiking, gardening, listening to music, and relaxing at the beach.
