Shana Blakeney received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), from William Carey University. She then completed her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of South Alabama.

Ms. Blakeney is a Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN-C) with the State of Florida. She assists Dr. Mital in Internal Medicine.

Shana most enjoys the relationships she has built in primary care. After spending many years in the emergency department, she never imagined enjoying anything as much as emergency medicine. “The joy these patients bring me is indescribable!”

When she’s not working you can find her spending time with her family - at home or on the road. She is married with 3 daughters, 2 granddaughters, and 2 Dobermans.
