Dr. Bavikati is a cardiac electrophysiologist who trained in cardiovascular medicine and clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
His training included advanced work in complex arrhythmia management, with a particular emphasis on atrial fibrillation, stroke prevention strategies, and cardiac implantable device therapy.
Dr. Bavikati is deeply committed to caring for patients with heart rhythm disorders. He has extensive experience in the treatment of challenging arrhythmias, including persistent atrial fibrillation and is passionate about helping patients regain not just rhythm stability, but overall confidence in their long-term heart health.
He has specialized expertise in left atrial appendage closure and Watchman device implantation, guiding patients through individualized stroke-reduction pathways when anticoagulation is not ideal. He also manages the full spectrum of cardiac implantable electronic devices, pacemakers, defibrillators, and physiologic pacing systems, focusing on safety and long-term outcomes.
At the core of his practice is a compassionate, patient-centered approach. Dr. Bavikati believes that every person living with an arrhythmia deserves clear communication, thoughtful guidance, and a treatment plan built around their life, not just their diagnosis. He is dedicated to blending evidence-based electrophysiology with genuine, human-centered care.
