Dr. Rengifo received his Doctorate of Medicine from the Universidad Central de Venezuela in Caracas, Venezuela and then completed a two year research fellowship at Harvard University

He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at St. Elizabeth´s Medical Center of Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed his Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowship at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

In addition, he completed his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship and Structural Interventional Cardiology Fellowship with the John W. Fisher Outstanding Cardiology-Subspecialty Fellow Award at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida.

His certifications include the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. He currently practices at Southern Medical Group, P.A. where he is co-director of the structural heart disease program, and holds privileges at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare.

In 2022 Dr. Rengifo was recognized for excellence in care, service, and partnership through TMH’s ICARE Awards.
