Dr. Rayatzadeh received his Doctorate of Medicine from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran. After serving one year in the military, Dr. Rayatzadeh relocated to the U.S. in 2009.

He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He completed his Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas.

His certifications include the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. 

He currently practices at Southern Medical Group, P.A., and holds privileges at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare. Along with Dr. Hartlage, Dr. Rayatzadeh also specializes in Cardio-Oncology, an emerging field of medicine focused on preventing and minimizing heart risks associated with cancer treatment. This program is one of only a handful in the State of Florida.
