Dr. Hartlage attended Medical School at the University of South Florida College of Medicine, completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the renowned J. Willis Hurst Internal Medicine Residency Program, Emory University, followed by Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship also at Emory.

Dr. Hartlage chose to extend his training to include an Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging Fellowship at the University of South Florida. He currently practices at Southern Medical Group, P.A., and holds privileges at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare.

Along with Dr. Rayatzadeh, Dr. Hartlage also specializes in Cardio-Oncology, an emerging field of medicine focused on preventing and minimizing heart risks associated with cancer treatment. This program is one of only a handful in the State of Florida.

Dr. Hartlage most enjoys helping his patients with a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic tools, ranging from long established standards to the newest cutting edge technologies, all in his home town of Tallahassee, FL.

When he’s not seeing patients, you’ll find Dr. Hartlage spending time with his wife and children, outdoors at the beach, on the water, or hitting the trails, reading non-fiction, listening to rock and roll music, and enjoying the local restaurant/craft beer scene.
